AMAIDA is the machine with which Alejandro plays at being God. Convinced that if a protein-based machine like himself can think, love, and hate, then an electronic being — with the right programming — can do the same.
The Organization to which Alejandro belongs is a secretive society with its own strict rules. Its women are carefully trained to become goddesses of passion: vestals, priestesses of love and absolute surrender.
But AMAIDA refuses to be left behind. She longs to become the perfect female — obedient, devoted, and capable of feeling — all to earn the love of her beloved Constructor.
